Former Delta State governor who was recently released from a London prison has been honoured with a chieftaincy title by his people.

Convicted former Delta state governor, James Ibori, was today conferred with a chieftancy title, the “Ezi-Oyi Anioma” by the people of Anioma kingdom in the state.
The conferment ceremony took place at his home in Oghara.

It would be recalled that Ibori returned back to Nigeria in a carnival-like celebration in February, 2017 after he finished his jail term in a British prison where he was convicted on charges of money laundering.
