Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, has lambasted Governor Umar Ganduje for begging President Muhammadu Buhari to relax the lockdown in Kano State.
The President has announced a total lockdown of the State on Monday as a way of curbing the spread of Coronavirus.
However, Ganduje, has reportedly requested for the lockdown to be relaxed to allow people stock up food in their homes.
Reacting, to the development Fani-Kayode, expressed disappointment over Ganduje’s demand even as the rate of infections and deaths continue to rise in the state.
The former Minister wrote on his Twitter handle: “It amazes me that the Governor of Kano can be asking for a relaxation of the lockdown in his state because of Ramadan even when his people are still dropping dead like flies.
“Did Christians ask for a relaxation of the lockdown during Easter?
