The House of Representatives committee on aviation has blamed the Nigerian government for the slow release of funds to the ministry of aviation which has hindered ongoing projects embarked on in 2014.
The committee said this in Abuja during the, ministry’s 2014 budget implementation defense and 2015 budget proposal.
The committee, while going through the records of the Ministry Of Aviation, noted the various projects that were yet to be completed because of lack of funds.
The permanent secretary who represented the ministry listed the various 2014 projects that were yet to be completed and called for better response for the 2015 proposals.
The committee told the ministry to continue to manage its resources efficiently especially with the dwindling oil revenue in the country.
