MADONNA AT 60: QUEEN OF POP’S ICONIC MOMENTS REVEALED – INCLUDING THOSE SHAVED PUBES

by
At times, it seems the Catholic-bashing pop icon has gone out of her way to spark debate – only to act surprised when the world is left in uproar.

Her 1992 S.E.X. book turned her public enemy number one, thanks to the glossy containing black and white images of her exposing every inch of her body and bondage-fuelled same-sex romps.

Though despite the backlash, Madge has refused to bow to pressure and tone down her image.

During her 2012 MDNA tour, she repeatedly flashed her booty on stage as well as exposing her boobs on the red carpet at the 2016 MET Gala in New York.

And recently, Madge took things to new shock heights by apparently shaving a Nike tick into her pubic hair.

Taking to Twitter, the Like A Virgin singer shared a snap of a woman pulling down her underwear to reveal her manicured privates complete with sporty tick.

Madonna captioned the post: “Yassssss! Just Do it @Nakid_Magazine. 1 Million Women’s March!! Be There!”

The Women’s March was a mass protest against newly-elected President Trump and his views and treatment of women.

During the event, Madonna hit headlines by admitting she had ‘thought a lot about blowing up the White House’.

NOT IMPRESSED: Piers Morgan can’t stand Madonna and her outrageous antics

Disgusted by her privates-flashing tweet, Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan quickly responded to M by retweeting the post and adding: “I just threw up in my breakfast.

“Literally.”

Piers has repeatedly lashed out at Madonna over the years.

His online newspaper column has often been used to take aim at her every move.

In December 2016, he publicly branded her a “walking talking train wreck” live on TV before adding to Digital Spy: “She is becoming increasingly grotesque and embarrassing.”

HITTING OUT: Madonna didn’t hold back during her 2016 Billboard Women in Music speach

Speaking at the 2016 Billboard Women in Music Awards, Madonna said: “There are no rules… if you are a boy.

“If you are a girl you have to play the game… you are allowed to be pretty and quite and sexy, but don’t act too smart.

“Don’t have an opinion… don’t have an opinion that is out of line with the status quo at least.

“You are allowed to be objectified by men and dress like a sl*t but don’t own your sl*ttyness and do not, I repeat do not, share your own sexual fantasies with the world.”

In a scathing takedown of radio stations around the world – including BBC Radio 1 – who refused to play her 2015 comeback single Living For Love, Madonna lashed out: “Finally do not age, because to age is a sin.

“You will be criticised, you will be vilified and you will definitely not be played on the radio.”

LOCKING HORNS: Madonna performs at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in 2008

Speaking in 2014, Radio 1’s then Head of Music George Ergatoudis said: “The BBC Trust have asked us to go after a young audience.

“We’ve got to concentrate on [people aged] 15-30. We have to bring our average age down. That’s something we’re very conscious of.

“The vast majority of people who like Madonna, who like her music now, are over 30 and frankly, we’ve moved on from Madonna.”

Awkwardly, Madonna headlined Radio 1’s Big Weekend in 2008 to support her Hard Candy album.
